Richard Britton Multi Irish champion and Isle of Man TT star Richard Britton, of Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, was killed instantly on Sunday, 18th September, when his 250 Honda seized and threw him into a stone wall. He was on the first lap of the 250 race at the Ballybunion road races, which were held on a closed street circuit in County Kerry, Rep of Ireland. Britton was also a regular Macau Grand Prix competitor and raced a number of times at Daytona (International Speedway) in F-USA and AMA events.
